Russian economy is growing sanctions backfired. Biden showed we have no military supply chain. Sad.
Not an economist or math major, huh? Got a news flash for you, sunshine. Growing inflation and interest rates isn't considered "economic growth". "The Bank of Russia lifted its policy rate to a staggering 16 per cent last Friday in response to inflation running at a rate of about 7.5 per cent." https://www.smh.com.au/business/the-economy/putin-s-choice-the-war-or-his-people-20231219-p5esdd.html What it means in practical terms is that if you take out a car loan, it will likely be somewhere at least around a 21% interest rate. Would you buy a car at a 21% interest rate? 7.5% inflation, means that prices are continually going up and up and up (not that they rose 7.5% and stopped increasing). The Central Bank hiked rates in August, September, October, skipped November, but now again in December? These rate hikes were supposed to lower inflation, but instead the Russian inflation rate will likely rise to 8% by January 1st. Not sure what your point about supply chain was. If the Russian translation software you're using doesn't have a lot of advanced US vocab, it's okay. Take your time and research it, then come back and re-post.
