I haven't watched in awhile, it makes me too sad - why doesn't Nova have pants? What is the status of that home?

Seriously Caitlyn and Tyler are heartbreaking. I think they're an example of how hard it can be to overcome family cycles of mental illness, apathy, substance abuse, etc. They were so fresh eyed and motivated as kids. I do agree that the MTV money enabled them more not to move forward with their lives, but I think it would have been the case anyway, just in a more impoverished way. And I think that's what their future looks like. I don't blame the adoptive parents either. I would have been more than scared off by the lack of boundaries that the bio parents and grandparents have displayed, as far as maintaining stability for the child. Ugh, that whole scenario is so sad, but at least Carly is in a good home, and will be able to look back and see that her bio family truly loved her, but just couldn't leverage resources or life skills enough to care for her as well as they felt she deserved to be cared for. To be fair, I think they're legit trying to potty train, and I know the bare bottom method is common.  But C&T seem to not care that Nova is running around bare bottomed during filming, and MTV has no qualms about showing it.  They've also posted full frontal pics of her on social media, and not taken any gentle criticisms of that to heart.
