Some of those opportunities were sort of simple, like learning how to type at an incredible rate of speed, other opportunities were intellectual (accelerated math, accelerated foreign language).
That said, the school is very different and certainly not for everyone.  And to be fair, we did have a couple problems while there that never got addressed.
As for the head of school, I took issue with him on an issue that was a school issue, not really specific to my kid, and sent him an email.  He was very fair in his response.  He is a reasonable person, as far as I could tell.  Of course, my interactions with him were not on an emotionally charged issue, not a big ticket issue.[/quote]
