I reached out to the GA East Regional Tournament organizers after receiving a survey from them (I'm the team manager). One of the questions asked us to rate our team's competitive level on a scale from 1 (most competitive) to 3 (least competitive). After collecting all the responses, the organizers grouped teams by state—making an effort to avoid placing multiple teams from the same state in the same group. Then, they assigned teams to groups based on their reported competitive level. So yes, whether you're in Group A or Group F does make a difference.[/quote] nope.. go look at rankings.   They ensured the top teams were spread out. You have teams in top 50 in same bracket as teams in top 500. Very easy to see this by looking at rankings.[/quote]
