nobody can be very happy with these rankings.  all three rosters are too big, so I expect the bottom third of the roster all three teams will be a revolving door as kids chase playing time.  So in that sense, there may be 3-4 DCE players going to ML, and another 3-4 going to Next Level.
But I can't imagine why a player in the top half of the roster on any of these teams moving.[/quote]

it's a good question, which is why the thread started in the first place. the travel lacrosse marketplace at the HS level has big barriers to entry.  You can't just announce "hey, I'm offering a new team" and expect families to leave MadLax, DCE, and NL to join, even with all of their deficiencies.  A program needs to be a known quantity to college coaches, have a top 40 ranking in US lacrosse (preferably top 20), and get into key tournaments like NLF.  VLC has the platform that it could have been a fourth team, but they screwed up and drove away their 2028 class, and are too lazy to rebuild it.  True teams are always popping up, but they are usually short lived and not a substitute for the three established programs.  If you're not happy with your role on ML, DCE, and NL, and you can't get a tryout with the other two, try Baltimore or Philly teams.  I don't expect another good option for this class in the DMV.[/quote]
