I am a woman who did not vote for Hillary. I am not voting for someone simply because she's a woman. This is the big prob with DEI. Whether I voted for T is not the issue. You still have run someone I believe in to get my vote. I'm over the first woman, first black, first Asian thing with Kamala. She's a human being and I vote for the human I can get behind. Trump or no Trump. I want the best person for the job. Anything less is just reverse discrimination. Hillary had so many issues. It's her. Not her as a woman!
I agree with you, but it's still exciting to think a woman (and a minority) might become POTUS. In any case, no politician is perfect, so you have to just pick the lesser of the two evils. Trump is a national security risk, even is national security advisors thought so. That's enough for me to not vote for him.
True. But Trump also had the courage to finally end our stupid twenty year wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Unlike Obama. Or Hillary Clinton. Absolutely no one has any idea what Kamala Harris is likely to do as President when it comes to foreign policy and the use of our military. Trump and this generation of Republicans are fairly isolationist and do not seem keen to start stupid wars. Whereas Democrats like Biden and Clinton were all in when it came to invading Iraq, wasting trillions in Afghanistan, reckless military adventurism in Libya, and so on and so forth. And I fear that Kamala Harris is going to be similarly reckless. Democrats have a mortal fear of being perceived as weak and are far too willing to resort to military force. Mainstream Democrats were all in favor of the invasion of Iraq. Republicans have had a reckoning and now think differently. But not so Democrats, who are far more likely to engage in dumb warmongering.
