He’s anti trump and pro choice. But what really seals it for me is his record as governor. The man is pragmatic, truly bipartisan, and all-around awesome. He will also make sure Baltimore’s shipping ( ie - the whole regional economy) after the bridge disaster won’t be forgotten at the fed level. No one else can do that.
He is anti-Trump. He is not pro-choice. His record as governor was only that of a right wing zealot who had to deal with a left wing Assembly. He wasted over $6B in waste cancelling mass transit projects and instead transferred the money to cronies who executed on totally unneeded road projects. Look at the interchange of 219 and 40 in Garrett County for an example of a perfectly fine, regular 4 way signalized intersection which became ridiculously over engineered. Worse projects on the eastern shore where Hogan had direct financial benefit from his steering state contracts. And as the PP said, any governor and senator will do what they can to get the Baltimore infrastructure back up and running. I am not even sure there is a need for an incoming senator to make such a pledge given how much has already been done by Biden and Moore.
