Not really. They’re not the same. No other country gives free mortgages. But plenty of countries provide free college educations. Society benefits from an educated population. I know conservatives like to rundown higher education but come on![/quote]

+100000000. Isn't this what we should be about? I have paid taxes toward public schools forever and do not have children attending public schools. I have no issue with helping out those who might need it in these tough times.[b] I hope so many teachers benefit greatly [/b]and can use that boost for something else they need or want. This decision makes me happy.[/quote]

Teaching degrees at this point need to be free! Our country is in desperate need of teachers. We need good teachers too who are superhuman and drown out the cultural discord in this country and educate the next generation… or the US is screwed![/quote]
