Right and it is awful for many players. A few ones may excel but the rest won’t see much progress. I’ll select the team and probably that focus on my kids progress, coach individual player attention/correct. What you describe is like sending your kids to a school with 30+ classmates with one teacher.[/quote]

I could see it being a good option for girls who want to practice and play at a high level but do not want to do the travel or play another sport. After u13/14 many girls quit. Add in the number of ECNL and GA teams in the area and the skill level of the non ECNL and non GA options really drops. The ECNL-r and CCL are horrible.

So you practice with the ECNL team but play locally in the EDP. If you have any skill this is better vs being on the second team or a first team at the other clubs. [/quote]
