At all I am in favor of getting vaccinated, but is it possible that the surge in red states is partly due to people in hot, humid, climates staying indoors more? If the issue is purely lack of vaccination, shouldn’t black neighborhoods in blue cities with more temperate climates be getting hit hard as hard as the Trumpy white neighborhoods in the south?
Not if they mask and if there are more masking mandates where they live in those "more temperate climates". I see lots of black people masking. They are not deniers of COVID . . . they are just afraid to get the vaccine. There's a difference. I actually see them being careful. They have seen the effects of COVID in the first go around. In Florida they go out of their way not to have mask mandates because freedumb.
