Just a guess but I imagine they’re hoping to lure in new buyers who will negotiate “down” to a higher price than they previously could have gotten and/or just adjusting the price to be more in line with the other recent increases—and perhaps with a bit more fairness, if the homes are unfinished, they could have added new design options, etc. to raise the price.

That said, I’d be surprised if there was any real waiting list for the quick delivery homes, my impression has always been builders like unloading them. Maybe a waitlist to view them in order to make potential buyers more anxious to buy? I’m sure there is some guy with a calculator paired with some guy with a sales strategy at TB HQs with a master plan :)[/quote]
