Karloutsos has more varied real-world experience in schools than Tholen. I value her experience in school safety far more than being an environmental educator.

I value Elaine’s years of experience as an FCPS parent, teacher and environmental program director more than Anastasia’s experience, although I’d take either over Ardavan. Elaine’s greater sensitivity to the challenges are also important to us - Anastasia’s responses focus on devoting more resources to Langley (after it just got an $80M renovation) as a way to attract wealthier families from other pyramids to Langley.  Elaine would try to find a solution that makes both Langley and McLean families feel good about the outcome.  And she has more ties to people in the Herndon and Marshall pyramids as well.

While I have some reservations, I do plan to vote for Cheryl for an at-large seat.

However, I will not vote for Priscilla DeStefano (who just parrots lines she is fed by the local Republicans) or Vinson Palathingal (who has plenty of his own,  but unfortunately bad, ideas and does not listen to anyone who disagrees with him). [/quote]
