They wouldn’t hold tryouts for vacationing players to ride out the season. The post says Coppermine is holding tryouts for “IMMEDIATE OPENINGS” (all caps, in bold) for the 28s. If it’s intended to replace / displace injured players, that would be a diabolical move. What would they do when the injured players come back?[/quote]Looks like they were light already?  So hoping to make it through the season, but once not enough available, needed short term.  And as they were light, longer term.  The all caps, all bold is dramatic in both your post and theirs, but certainly can be explained from their side to delineate for people that it isn't for next year (as it's tryout season) and to make sure folks know they are looking for the next several weeks.[/quote]
