An ECNL event, any ECNL event, would have been better in terms of total numbers of coaches, number of D1's, any other conceivable metric, ECNL would have been better. That said...1. Who cares? 2. The recruiting sidelines this past week/end at the GA Spring Showcase was really strong. Lots of P4's and G5 D1's, US Soccer was there, lots of D2's and D3's also. As good as an ECNL event...no, really strong and ample opportunity for anyone who wants to play college soccer...absolutely. Better than an RL event, absolutely. Looking forward to an even better turnout this summer for playoffs. That's about as honest and objective as I can be. [/quote]
