This is what happens when you wait too long to find a husband. She was a late 30s girl boss and had to settle for some shmuck who looked half-decent on paper (stable career, nice, dorky). She obviously never actually loved her husband.
Her husband is better looking than Mike Vrabel, probably a nicer person since not a cheater, was single, will never have CTE, and was probably excited to date and marry a prominent, semi-celebrity journalist. She made a terrible judgment call.
You're describing good *on paper*. Clearly no actual attraction, no bedroom spice, no romance, no actual love. She possibly didn't even want her husband's babies. Husband's ick factor is off the charts.
Cake eaters are good with multiple partners. She looks happy in the early pictures with her husband. She just is a cheater. These days if she'd wanted to be a single mom, nobody would have blinked or asked about the dad. She didn't have to get married. She was likely just going for next best in her opinion. Now she really has f'ed her life. Like Prince Charles did. Her kids are always going to know she has zero integrity.
Prince Charles and his side piece are happy as clams and got everything they wanted.
I'd disagree with that. Neither of us know what he really thinks but he's only in good relations with one of his sons. And he made a terrible mistake with Diana. His historical legacy is to be the King who wanted to be a tampon. An embarrassing placeholder between his legendary mother and whatever William can achieve. When your job is to be one of a list, I'd think you'd figure out quickly if you were destined to be one of the afterthoughts.
