They are driven solely by self-interest and profit. But they’re not alone. BA, Achilles, and others are just as bad, operating at the same low standard. These clubs only survive because they’re the only game in town, not because they offer quality programs. If real standards existed, most of them would shut down overnight.

And let’s not forget DCU. The leadership there is clueless—there may not be a single qualified person on staff. The entire youth organization is a joke, and they deserve a thread of their own.

Agree. Although, DCU does have some people with qualifications.  But the organization overall is a complete joke. Including the academy. [/quote]
