Then just name her Kathleen. It's extremely tacky to copy her nickname "Kick" because those kinds of nicknames are very specific to the person, and based on some sort of personality trait or event. It's not like calling her Kat or Kathy merely to shorten the name. [/quote] People don’t seem to understand that nicknames are supposed to be organic.
