Multiple posts have already explained that no one here believes Comey is the only employee at the FBI and the only one doing the investigating. But he was the DIRECTOR, and the person to replace him will DIRECT investigative priorities, as he did. Trump picking that person could undermine the investigation INTO TRUMP, if the new director lessens the priority - many possible ways to do so.[/quote]
