To break it down in simple terms: The FCC threatened Disney and ABC over Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel's show was thereafter pulled. The FCC controls mergers and thus can prevent companies from making deals they want to make.

That is government pressure on indepenedent media corporations to remove programming they don't like. When the government represses free speech, that is a violation of the First Amendment. [/quote]
