Mediaite has the police report. “The report, provided by the City of Monterey, California, was previously released to Hegseth in March 2021, per his request. It runs 24 pages and details the allegation leveled by a woman who claimed in 2017 that she was sexually assaulted by the cable news star at a Republican women’s conference.” https://www.mediaite.com/politics/new-full-police-report-details-pete-hegseth-sexual-assault-allegation/
It was investigated and no charges were filed. Her story sounds fabricated and likely motive was she regretted and was remorseful for cheating on her husband, so she decided it wasn’t consensual. Why would a married woman be walking “arm and arm smiling” with another man and going into his hotel room alone, if not to have consensual sex?
Her story doesn't sound fabricated. Nice try though https://www.mediaite.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/11-20-24-Mediaite.pdf Regardless of whether their sex was consensual, he still shouldn't be Secretary of Defense. He went to a conference of Republican women to speak, got blackout drunk (he claims to not remember things too), groped and propositioned multiple women, and ended up having sex with one of them who says it was rape. You want someone like that - who's so easily compromised - to know our national secrets and be in charge of our armed forces?
Multiple people spoken to that had contact with her all throughout the night, including just before the incident and whomever she shared a room with that spoke to her immediately upon her arrival to the room after the event, said she did not appear drunk, drugged, stuporous, hung over or anything other than normal and coherent. All surveillance videos also indicate she was walking straight and not stumbling.
So he paid her off for nothing? Shouldn't'a bothered with the NDA, I guess. Oopsie. Dumb of him.
No doubt because anyone can file a lawsuit. He's a well known high profile guy. Much easier for his insurance company to pay off these kinds. Happens all the time. Also, once you sign an NDA it clearly says you hold that other person blameless. Basically, she accepted money instead of continuing on in court which again shows what she wanted all along.
If he hadn’t bragged about and shared videos of him doing drugs at sex parties with minors, maybe people would believe him.
I think that was the other guy. But they're easy to mixup, so maybe I'm the one who is confused.
You’re right. So many of them and a thread for each- I got my threads mixed up.
