Israel's current actions are bad since they are making things less safe for the world both in the short term (for people living in Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon) and longer term (for people in Israel and the US) Hamas' actions on 10/7 were horrific and wrong. But previous Israeli actions led to the development of the group. Can't Israel learn from its past misstakes? Hezbollah has also done some horrific things. But again ditto to the point above about Hamas. [/quote] Hamas was formed by Iran. Iran doesn’t care about Gaza and would have formed proxy groups regardless of what Israel did or didn’t do. Iran is hellbent on Israel disappearing no matter what. [/quote]
