The future sure is looking brighter for NoVA. Jobs, tech, a tech pipeline and politicians working well together to build a strong future. Not sure how DC can get any of that going here. We have crime, truancy and a growing segment of the population that will always be dependent on the taxpayer. How did so much progress get lost so quickly?
But at least DC is welcoming, diverse, inclusive and has an urban vibe. The billionaire teams can enjoy their new home in the boring white suburbs.
Ummmm have you seen Alexandria?
I don't think this person has actually ever set foot in Alexandria. It's like 57% white, 43% minority. But then again, a lot of folks in the District mistakenly believe it's this magical land of urban diversity, and everything outside it is lily white and suburban sprawl. Let's just ignore the fact Alexandria has history that predates DC, and that Old Town is more walkable that 75% of the District. I swear, these DC cheerleaders are like people trapped on a sinking ship, criticizing all the other seaworthy boats around them.
