If you look closely on their website about what is and isn’t included in their fees, you’ll quickly see why. You’ll notice that uniforms/gear are not included (this typically runs you another $600), and you’ll also see that the coaches’ hotel and travel expenses are not included in the fees. That is the big one. So essentially for every tournament that requires a coach to stay in a hotel or fly, every player on the team will be hit with a $500-700 fee per tournament. Metro obviously plays a very competitive schedule with a ton of travel, so now you can start to extrapolate how much that will end up costing you by the end of the season.
