Because the world kind of sucks. There’s not much of a social support system in place, so many are one medical emergency away from bankruptcy, the world is heating up and no one is doing anything about it, we are at end stage capitalism and spend our lives working jobs we don’t care about…  I could go on. The question is why are there so many people out here rawdogging this life without meds or drugs or alcohol or whatever helps you feel better?

I’ve been on an SSRI for about 10 years.  It’s made me much happier. I’ve gone off a few times to see how it is and for a pregnancy, and life is just better when I’m on it. Why not take it?[/quote]

This is an…odd take. I’ve never been on meds, and am genuinely pretty content in life. Not always “happy” because that’s a feeling and not a permanent state. [/quote]
