To all of the mask moms out there: Turn on the State of the Union and tell me again how my son in K, with 1 in 1,000,000 risk from COVID, has to go to his charter school tomorrow and play at recess with a mask on for a seventh month. And wear a mask for 7 hours indoors while attempting to socialize and learn a foreign language. Because it makes YOU feel comfortable to ignore the CDC. While you work from home (probably).
Preach!
Totally agree, and speaking of which, any charters announce the end of outdoor masking yet? I supposed I have to go write to admin again and see what the plan is….
Our charter hasn’t and they seem ridiculously COViD cautious. My kindergartner is trying to learn Spanish and learn to read when she can’t see her teachers pronouncing syllables. The teachers themselves have noted how difficult it is to teach in masks.
