Because he was hit as a child and he knows what it feels like. A spouse touching you in anger is flat out unacceptable. Part of what my husband likes about me is that he knows if he laid a hand on me or our kids he'd be out of the house so fast his head would spin. No hitting. Not in our house.[/quote]
