Plain cotton fabric will not give you the same sun protection that a rash guard would. In fact, it gives you very minimal protection.[/quote]

I've heard that as well but I also agree that rash guards are about as sexy as scuba suits. Would be nice if someone came up with one that actually looked sexy as a cotton T-shirt does when wet. I have a size small Rascal Flatts T-shirt that I wear over my bikini and I love the looks I get when I come out of the water. I feel sexier than with just the bikini top.
