I can think of dozens of ways to do something that actually will help those facing vulnerability because of Trump's presidency - volunteer for Planned Parenthood/LGBTQ groups/other advocacy groups, write letters to Congresspeople, etc. and protesting is not on that list. IF my child had given his/her time to do something along those lines, THEN perhaps I would allow for such protesting. But I would absolutely punish my child if they skipped school to march in a way that helps no one, nor will it change anything. [/quote]
