What is the neighborhood feel like in the RM cluster? Do kids just go outside and find a bunch of other kids to play with? I want to move to an area with big(ger) backyards, lots of trees, and kids running around on their own. Are there any areas of Rockville where you have cul-de-sacs and quieter streets where the kids are enjoying being kids? Flower Valley in Rockville seems that way. Is there an equivalent in RM?
There are pockets in RM cluster area like this. You really need to just drive around on a sunday afternoon and see. I don't want to say where exactly we live, but my kids walk to a neighbor's house (not right next door), and play with the kids there, and it is in a cul de sac. Sizeable backyards. It does seem like the more affluent areas in general (not just RM cluster) don't have kids going to each other houses's to play, running around on their own; it seems like most of the kids are too busy with activities or something.
