Agree. Except that I think it's never going to go away. Being a POC is a way to achieve a higher status, just like being beautiful or having wealth or connections. Who wants to give up their higher status, no matter the source? [/quote]

Oh yeah...POC definitely have a "higher status" when it comes to things like acquiring detentions and suspensions in elementary school - white kids don't get those too easy.  Who wants to give that up right?[/quote]
