The dog was NOT injured by what I did-perfectly fine. It was the vets misdiagnosis that led me to go to the ER to put the dog down. The only thing I CHOSE to do was have her examined again before doing so. Had the primary vet not screwed up, he would have given a $50 bag of fluids and some steroids (also a nominal fee) and we would have gone home. The mistake was the vets-not mine.
