In Fairfax Co or Montgomery County where there are tests to determine such things so they can identify children for AAP or HGC they're more aware. But in DC unless your child has been through IQ testing because a learning disability or other issue is suspected, and the results were shard with the school, no one knows (or probably cares) but you.
