Stone Harbor is not one little street. There are a few streets with tons of cute shops. It's very quaint but tons of shops, restaurants etc in the downtown area. Beaches are private and beautiful and clean. Easy drive from DC and many of the reports have been completely redone and are oceanfront. Would recommend. We went this Summer.[/quote]

There are .no private beaches in nj, all are public.  Many require a the purchase of a.Weekly or seasonal pass.[/quote]
