My wife looks great after 3 kids and weighs 5 lbs less than our wedding day. I much prefer her in a cute tankini.
Nice try honey. My DH has no idea how much I weighed on our wedding day, or today, after ten years and two kids. He sure as hell does not know what a tankini is, and he would never use the word "cute" to describe an article of clothing.
NP PP, take your experience for what it is but don't assign it as fact to others. This is a husband, me, who knows what my wife weighed at marriage and knew she weighed even less 25 years later. Oh, and she gave birth to, and raised as a SAHM, three fantastic children during that time. She had a great figure when we married and I think an even better one on our 25th.
Do you weigh her?
Hell no. And even if I didn't know the exact, or within 5lbs, number I still know her 'size'. Haven't lost the brain cells, or photos, to not know she is smaller now than when we wed. Same for her, she knows I have gained and since I have shared the numbers, she knows how much. Which btw, is less than it had gotten to and something she asked me to do. Was I offended? Not a bit. So I worked on it and lost weight and while I am still 15lbs heavier than when we married I have maintained the loss, current weight, since.
