I think about her because I'm still in love with her. I knew pretty much immediately, and it was a kind of love I'd never felt before. Whether the affair lasted months or years, or whether I'd been the one to let her go, it wouldn't have changed how I felt about her. Or how I still feel, after all this time.[/quote]

This is why affairs are so devastating. They can go beyond the physical and it's not just about sex or getting laid but you've so damaged your marriage.
