But yeah op, it does get annoying when people seem to not care about being on public assistance, but the system is rigged to make it nearly impossible to get off of it. The best thing would be if the public assistance programs were overhauled so that they were actually providing adequate support that made it where people could get ahead and then not need it anymore. The way it is now, if you have a change in your income, you must report it and then they adjust your benefits. So if you are working and you get more hours or a raise, they take back some of your aid, so it's impossible to save money that you earn. There really isn't a perfect system that will work for everyone though, is there? I try not to judge people. And that includes I don't judge op or the people calling op names (hypocrites much?).[/quote]
