Stop being obtuse, no one is saying mi it's and toddlers should have guns.  Law abiding adults should.

Let me ask you this, someone is breaking into your home.  You and your wife are there, you call the police.  How much time do you believe you have?  There is a family in DC who was tortured and killed last year in their home.  I'm willing to bet he wished he'd had some way to protect his family.

I'll say it again.  Those who want to take away the ability for people to protect themselves or their families are cowards.  They wouldn't stand up to someone attempting to inflict harm to their families.  Or, they live in nice neighborhoods and live in this bubble where things like this don't happen to them (it does as evidenced by that family in DC a couple of years ago).

Until then, I'll continue to exercise my rights of protecting my family and hunting.  I feel safe knowing I have an option to defend myself, and I'm capable of putting food on the table of need be the old fashioned way.

The rest of you have the right not to do that, but be warned.  I called the cops because Insaw a break-in in a house in my neighborhood at 2AM.  Cops took 15 minutes to arrive.  I timed it.  If someone had been in that house, they'd probably be dead.[/quote]
