+1000 PP is an idiot with a rude awakening coming.

I work with an organization for Asian adoptees.  A number of the adoptees are at odds with or have cut off contact with their white parents for being too stupid, racist, and selfish to acknowledge these children's sense of alienation in all white surroundings.

Of course, the white parents react with indignation that the adoptees they "saved" are not kissing their feet in gratitude, which tells you about these people's true motives in adopting.

I would love for a study to be done on the relationships between adult cross-racial adoptees and white parents. The results would shock the white savior demographic.[/quote]

+1.  The rescue complex.  It's not just with white families in international.  It is across the races in all kinds of adoption.
