I see it purely as a national security decision rather than a domestic political one -- but it certainly doesn't look good and is backfiring, at least for now. Seeing this through the lens of Trump/Clinton seems to be hyper-focused on domestic issues and ignoring national/international issues. I agree, though, that Trump will not successfully capitalize on this. He can't seem to pull that off. [/quote]
