IN Zip code 20151 NNAT 133 CogAT 119 GBRS 10 WISC V 133
How does this work - i am new to this AAP for my elder one. Does NNAT 133 itself not get the kid in pool, was the kid in pool and not accepted due to COGAT/GBRS and hence had to appeal. Also did you do parent referral, is it same as appeal - sorry again dont know much about APP processes first hand
Child was in pool because of NNAT score above 132, but did not get in first round probably because of low CogAT score. We suspected something odd happened during the test because he only got a subscore of 115 on the subset of the CogAT section where the NNAT-related questions were tested. We hesitated to get him tested for the WISC but decided to go ahead in last minute and it turned out we were right about odd things happened during test day. Also, we put in work samples in the second round, as we did not do it in the first round since we were not crazy about the AAP program anyway. We hope this helps you.
Thank you so much - this helps
