Because some of Great Falls is not that affluent. There are a lot of federal employees in my neighborhood who commute downtown or to the Pentagon every day. People have this vision that Great Falls is all about mansions and giant properties -- and that's imply not true. Yes, there are many large houses and properties, but there are also neighborhoods, like mine, that have smaller homes and a great community feel. These neighborhoods are just north (east?) of Rt 7, so we are near the main transportation routes, such as the metro, bus and toll road.[/quote]
