They have numerous banking relationships
Bank CEOs take them to lunch or dinner. 
Charities send the head of donor relations to take them to lunch or dinner on the charity's dime. 
They have lines of credits with limits in the millions and regularly borrow on them, max them out and pay them down to a zero balance
Banks will extend them unsecured lines of credits in the 6 and 7 figure range
They have side business ventures you never heard of that generate 6+ figure profits
