As Secretary of State, Clinton continued to put gender out front.  She insisted that foreign policy and development goals include gender components, as well as instituting internal policies with the State Department that improved the lives of LGBTI employees.  She was the first Secretary to extend domestic partner benefits/passports/visas to same-sex partners, as well as actively recruiting LGBTI employees.

Indeed. I find it so infuriating for her whole record to be trashed like this. She's not perfect, but don't just erase everything she did because you don't like her. It's the same argument as "she's not a liberal." False, disingenuous, and ultimately hurting whatever point you want to make about your candidate. [/quote]
