I see this idiotic meme that somehow local government services and road construction is socialist.  [b]You have no idea what socialism is, do you?[/b]  If you're going to spout off about socialism you should at least read Marx.  Socialism is government controlling the means of production instead of letting the free market do it.  Socialism is nationalizing industry and banks.  It's government ownership of everything.  Socialism is taking over agriculture and land ownership and making private farms into collectives owned by the government.  The farmers become tenants on government land who toil in the fields to meet government quotas.  Socialism is government setting the price of goods and wages.

Building and maintaining roads and providing police and fire services are just basic government services that all forms of government provide.  Crack a book, study some history.  And not the garbage you were fed in public schools.   [/quote]
