[/quote] Parents at a well run club would not likely be consulted beforehand if there was a one-off firing of a coach, but they would certainly receive at least a general explanation of the reason for the change (even if merely an email saying the old coach was leaving to "pursue opportunities elsewhere") and an introduction to the new coach. I've never heard of a mass firing of coaches happening mid-year, but that sort of a major change requires immediate and careful communication with parents.[/quote]
