Thanks, all!  They gave him antibiotics at the ER, and he is scheduled with an endodonist later this morning.  Right now, he is sleeping, which is progress after a LONG night.  [i]Neither he nor I knew about the prescription/OTC mixing issue[/i], but thanks for letting us know.[/quote]

+1. It's on the label in huge letters. There's also a lot of news regarding acetaminophen overdosing. It's a HUGE deal. Can cause permanent liver damage. Please, please don't just take things without reading the label. Drug interactions are real.[/quote]
