Do you really think an email Sid Blumenthal sent would be classified? LOL. Remember that if any of this stuff is actually classified, *anyone* sending or receiving those emails could be in trouble because they were not sent on a classified server, nor are they sitting on a classified server now.
Who said anything about Blumenthal? It will be interesting to see WHO sent these emails. And, how the FBI handles this situation with this person/these people.
One of the fully redacted (due to now being classified) emails is from Blumenthal. Clinton, once again, did not send any of these emails. Once again, none of the material was classified at the time.
You are listening to Clinton. We don’t know if SHE sent the emails yet. We do know that she CHOSE to have a server that was unsecured. THAT is the issue. If she had done what she was supposed to do, and used the State Dept. email, there would be no issue. This is ALL her making. And, as to the statement that the material was not classified at the time..... seems to me that what has happened here is that someone took information from classified emails (yes, classified, and likely marked as such), and related that classified information in an email to HRC. So, while the email itself was not classified, the information was. Once again, she should have known better. Her judgment is questionable, at best. But, she is a Clinton, after all, so she is not held to the same expectations of us regular people. She is above us.
Actually from the FBI's perspective this is not the issue. The issue is whether or not Clinton is possible subject to blackmail in the past, now or future. That's why you never lie on the FBI clearance forms. They don't care if you smoked marijuana. They just want to know where and when so when you are in a position of power your can't be blackmailed. Hillary made a catastrophic choice by using her unsecured email. Everyone in government knows the rules about handling top secret materials. She knew what she was doing. And we now know that some of those emails were picked up by enemy countries and those giving contributions to the Clinton Foundation. This is also why the FBI made such a big deal about homosexuality (yeah yeah we all know about Hoover) - it was not the fact you were a homosexual, it was that you could be blackmailed by an enemy of the state. That's the issue for the FBI and CIA.
Oh, please, again, this has been a widespread issue in previous administrations. Seemingly no worries about blackmail there. The partisan hacks have to get a little more creative. . but guess the people who have been focusing on Benghazi for the past seven years are the brightest.
