WTF does that even mean. First off, there is no cost to having those schools on her list since she has fewer than 12 schools. Second, even if you overlook that point, the "wait for K" makes ZERO logical sense. They are filling up with IB kids for PK3/4 to the point that they are not accepting IB kids with sibs, and then in K all those IB kids have a right to attend. How does your advice make any sense?

What's up with the bitchiness?  Brent admitted several OOB kids for K this year in spite of the fact that there were a large number of now 5YO IB kids shut out of PK three years ago.  There are fewer IB rising K'ers shut out two years ago and I wouldn't be surprised if the school opened a few spots for K again next year.  We will have to see what happens in two year's time.  I'm not going to debate the wisdom of any of this other than to note that class sizes seem unnecessarily large this year.  [/quote]
