Oh my gosh. Can we be friends? This is my situation with my in-laws exactly. I am close to the point of cutting off all access, frankly, because I think it's going to do damage to my kids when they start realizing how much she favors other grandkids. I honestly think having her not involved or minimally involved in their lives is better. There are other relatives who do love them and can fill that void.
