I think Jerry got a huge power rush out of getting Jessica to walk away after a huge wedding to another rich guy, before he was even willing to propose. He obviously had a huge hold on Jessica and that must have been a huge rush for him - that she was willing to suffer public and personal humiliation, just to DATE him.  [/quote]
